Two doctors practicing at NCH named to Chicago magazine’s list of top heart doctors

The June/July issue of Chicago magazine published a list of 127 cardiologists in a six county area, recommended by their peers. Two physicians practicing at Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) in Arlington Heights were included in the list.

• Brian H. Albert, M.D. – Coronary artery disease; echocardiography; preventive cardiology
• Ankit A. Shah, M.D. – Interventional Cardiology

The list has been compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a healthcare research and information company founded in 1992 by a former medical college board chairman and president to help guide consumers to America’s top doctors and hospitals. Castle Connolly’s selection process, under the direction of a medical doctor, involves surveying hundreds of thousands of physicians, as well as academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and regional and community hospitals across the nation. Doctors do not and cannot pay to be selected.
