Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) announces new Chief Nursing Officer/EVP

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is pleased to appoint Eileen Gillespie, R.N., DNP to the role of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Executive Vice President. Eileen has served as Interim CNO since October of 2018.
“Due to the importance of this clinical leadership role, we conducted an extremely rigorous and robust national search with the help of an external firm,” explains NCH President and CEO Stephen Scogna.
Eileen holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University, a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has previously served in nurse leadership roles across several markets, including the Chicago area.
“In the short time Eileen has been at NCH, she has been a great addition to the executive team and has been a terrific advocate for our nurses,” Scogna says.
