New cardiologist joins Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Medical Group

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Medical Group is pleased to announce cardiologist Zehra Jaffery, M.D., will join our cardiology practice at 880 West Central Road, Suite 7100, in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Jaffery received her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and served as an internal medicine chief resident at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Jaffery completed her cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans and was the Director of Women’s Heart Health at UTMB in Galveston, TX.

Dr. Jaffery is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. She is a member of several medical associations including the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. She has published numerous articles in medical journals such as the American Journal of Emergency Medicine and the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology. A frequent presenter, she received an award for an American College of Physicians – Michigan Chapter poster presentation.
