NCH Wellness Center announces “Your Membership Matters” campaign

Beginning this month, the Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Wellness Center will be donating one percent of its profits from monthly membership dues to the NCH Foundation for pediatric care and the health of our community’s children.

Last year, the Wellness Center generated over $1 million in profit, so it is expected that this year’s donations will reach $10,000.

“We will be putting up a banner in our lobby tracking the month’s total donations,” says Wellness Center Director Steve Balaton. “We decided on one percent of our net as the donation so that every paying member is in a small way giving back.”

Health clubs offer a great service to the community, Balaton says, and the “Your Membership Matters” campaign allows the Wellness Center to do even more.
“We are paying it forward by not only improving the lives of our members, but also our communities’ children’s lives,” he says.
The Wellness Center offers a community feel combined with a niche of medical integration and sports performance. A highly-qualified, certified and degreed group of fitness specialists is available for personalized training sessions.

“We offer a little something for everyone in our state-of-the-art facility with advanced options for strength training, over 100 pieces of cardio equipment and 5,000 feet of functional turf space,” says Lead Personal Trainer Eric Bishop. “We also offer 100+ complimentary land and aquatic group exercise classes, full-service locker rooms, Pilates, and a complete Salon/Spa for all members interested.”
