Neurosurgery

Our Neuroscience Center is committed to utilizing state-of-the-art neurosurgery tools and delivering advanced treatment. We were the first hospital in Chicagoland to use both 3D exoscopy and endoscopy technology for neurosurgery.

We are also working to expand treatment options for brain bleeds or tumors once considered inoperable. Our neurosurgeons are trained in atraumatic surgical access for tissue and bleed removal at deep regions within the brain.

Our highly skilled neurosurgeons use minimally invasive NICO BrainPath® technology to access brain tumors, pituitary tumors and brain bleeds. We are also among the first in the area to use 3D neurosurgery technology for improved visualization and patient safety.

Our neurosurgeons are critical to our overall Neurological Program as they perform sophisticated surgical procedures for many types of neurological conditions.
