Awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), this four-year designation is the highest level of recognition that nursing services can obtain. The ANCC awards Magnet® status to hospitals that exhibit exemplary patient outcomes and satisfaction, have impressive nurse-to-patient ratios, and attract and retain the best nursing staff.
The award recognizes emergency departments that exemplify exceptional practice and innovative performance in the core areas of leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research.
The CoC Accreditation Program encourages hospitals, treatment centers and other facilities to improve their quality of patient care. Recognizing that cancer is a complex group of diseases, the CoC Cancer Program Standards promote consultation among surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists.
The NAPBC is a consortium of professional organizations dedicated to the improvement of the quality of care and monitoring of outcomes of patients with diseases of the breast. This mission is pursued through standard-setting, scientific validation, and patient and professional education. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
The Joint Commission is the nation’s preeminent standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare.
Our Pediatric Emergency Department is designated as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP).
