NCH recognized as a Best-In-State Employer by Forbes

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) has been ranked #4 on the Forbes list of Best-In-State Employers 2021, in the Healthcare category, and #17 in all Illinois employers with more than 500 employees. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was recently announced and can currently be viewed on the Forbes website.

“We have always believed NCH has a caring and compassionate culture, and it is validating to know our team members believe we are among the best,” said Vice President of Human Resources Dominice LaPorte. “Considering there are ample healthcare organizations in our region and our caregivers have many choices, we don’t take anything for granted as we pursue our mission to serve our patients, our community and our valued employees.” 

America’s Best-In-State Employers 2021 were identified in an independent survey based on a vast sample of approximately 80,000 Americans working for companies with more than 500 employees in the USA. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,329 employer brands were ranked among the top employers. Brands were able to win in more than one state.

The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively.
