Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group welcomes Lena Virasch, D.O.

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Medical Group welcomes Lena Virasch, D.O., an internal medicine physician who joined the NCH Medical Group office at 1450 Busch Parkway in Buffalo Grove.

Dr. Virasch earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago – NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Virasch has interests in preventive medicine, women’s health, diabetes and hypertension.

“During the first appointment, I like to get to know the patient and learn about their concerns and goals,” says Dr. Virasch. “It’s also an opportunity for the patient to get to know me and what I and the practice can provide them.”
