Medical Director joins Behavioral Health at Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH)

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Medical Group is pleased to welcome Uzoma Okoli, M.D., who will be the new Medical Director of Behavioral Health at 901 W. Kirchhoff Rd. starting on May 28.

Dr. Okoli received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria College of Medicine and completed an internship at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. He completed his residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York.

Dr. Okoli is board-certified in psychiatry and sleep medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Psychiatric Association.

“Dr. Okoli brings over 14 years of psychiatric experience to our team, and we look forward to his leadership and compassionate approach to meeting the needs of our patients,” says Tracy Collander, Executive Director of the Behavioral Health Department.

He begins seeing patients this week who are admitted to the inpatient unit, and, when released, will continue to follow up with them on an outpatient basis.
