At Northwest Community Hospital, we're proud to work with many dedicated physicians as we care for our patients. Currently our medical staff is 1,100 members strong. As one of only 5% of the nation's 6,000 hospitals earning Magnet™ designation, NCH attracts and retains the best clinical staff from all disciplines. We have top-notch specialists in cancer treatment, neurointerventional surgery, interventional radiology and advanced gastroenterology medicine, to name a few. And for the third time in four years, NCH was named one of the Top 100 Places to Work 2009 by Fortune magazine—the only Illinois-based organization to earn this honor.

Providing facilities and technology to meet your needs

We care about you and your patients. That’s why we continue to expand and improve our facilities and provide you with the latest in advanced technology to meet today’s changing needs. Recent additions include three new operating rooms, a new GI Interventional Procedure room, the renovated Cardiac Diagnostics suite and the new Patient Care Addition (PCA), which will open in 2010. The increase in the number of operating rooms now allows us to provide an Urgent Room, which can be kept available at all times to accommodate emergency procedures.
