Emmi® Patient Education

Northwest Community Healthcare strives to help patients take an active role in their healthcare; that's why we are proud to offer Emmi educational programs to our patients.

What is Emmi?

Emmi is a web-based program that takes complex medical information and makes it simple and easy to understand. The Emmi programs are interactive and are designed to help prepare patients for an upcoming procedure or manage a chronic condition.

After leaving your doctor's office, you may have additional questions or realize you forgot to ask a question. The Emmi programs answer important but sometimes unasked questions.

How Does Emmi Work?

The Emmi programs are web-based, so you can view them at your own pace in the comfort of your home or anywhere that has Internet access. You can also share them with your family or friends. Each program takes about 20 minutes, and you can view them as often as you'd like. As you watch the program, you can write notes and questions that you can then print and bring to your next doctor's appointment.

Available Programs

Emmi programs are available for select procedures and chronic conditions. Ask your doctor which program is right for you.
