Guided Imagery for those Affected by Cancer

This group is for cancer survivors, and their loved ones who are looking to increase their sense of well being, balance and comfort. This group is open to those who are newly diagnosed, going through treatment, have completed treatment, or have a loved one with cancer. Join Diane Sullivan, MS, LPC, CH, as she leads the group in using relaxation techniques and visualization. The only requirement is that you are willing to enjoy the feeling of relaxation. Leukemia, Lymphoma and other Blood-Related Disorders Networking Group

A networking group for those with blood-related disorders, their families and friends, meets the second Wednesday of each month from 7 8:30 pm in the Radiation Oncology/Ambulatory Infusion Clinic at NCH. The group discusses issues related to leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and any other blood-related disorders. Look Good...Feel Better®

A program that teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Taught by a cosmetologist. Participants receive a free make-up kit valued up to $250. The class is held in the Radiation Oncology/Ambulatory Infusion Clinic at NCH. Co-Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, and the National Cosmetology Association. All Cancer Networking Group (formerly Make Today Count)

A networking group open to all cancer patients, their family and friends. This group provides opportunities to exchange thoughts and ideas on dealing with cancer. The group meets twice a month on Thursdays from 7 8:30 pm in the Radiation Oncology/Ambulatory Infusion Clinic at NCH. The facilitators are Kim Jensen, LCSW, OSW-C, Linda Burgard and Peggy Babcock. Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Networking Group

This networking group is open to all MDS patients, their families and friends. The group provides opportunities to exchange thoughts and ideas on dealing with MDS. The class meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:30 3 pm in the Radiation Oncology/Ambulatory Infusion Clinic at NCH. Pancreatic & Hepatobiliary Cancer Support Group

This support group is for anyone with a pancreas or hepatobiliary cancer, as well as their family and friends. Breast cancer survivors and the women in their lives who support them are invited to attend this monthly gathering.
